Requirements for Regular Membership:

Engagement in Business or Professional Activities: Regular members are individuals who are engaged in business or professional careers and support the objectives of BPW Georgia.
Voting Rights and Leadership Opportunities: As a regular member, you will have the opportunity to vote on key decisions and even hold office within BPW Georgia.
Active Participation: We encourage members to take part in our various programs, meetings, and events, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Code of Conduct: Members are expected to adhere to BPW Georgia’s code of conduct and fulfill financial obligations, such as membership dues, as determined by the Board.

Becoming a Board Member

Eligibility for Board Members:

At Least 10 Years of Professional Experience: Board candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector.
Outstanding Achievements: Successful candidates will have a proven track record of significant accomplishments and industry-wide impact in their respective fields.
Commitment to BPW Georgia’s Mission: Board members must demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of BPW Georgia, with a deep understanding of its beneficiaries.
Leadership and Diplomacy: Ideal candidates will possess diplomatic skills, the ability to build networks, and a strong capability to foster consensus and collaboration.

Board Member Selection Process

The selection of BPW Georgia’s Board Members is carried out by a Panel of three internationally renowned experts in business, governance, and nonprofit management. These experts are independent and highly regarded for their contributions and leadership. The panel evaluates candidates based on their professional experience, achievements, leadership abilities, and alignment with BPW Georgia’s mission.
